Australian fintechs scored $US600 million in new deals in 2016 despite investment plummeting worldwide: Report

[1] Based KPMG’s report, investment in Australia’s fintech sector increased to more than $US600 million ($780 million) in 2016 compared to just over $US50 million  from the previous years.

[2] KPMG International’s The Pulse of Fintech report reveals that 23 fintech investments in Australia sums up to$US185 million in 2015.

[3] But in 2016, $US656 million was instilled into 25 deals.
