Startup AVTEG gives Australia foot in door of Indian VET sector

[1] India’s Punjab government has provided the Australian Vocational Training and Employment Group a 1900sq m site to develop a “multi-skill development centre” in Hoshiarpur.

[2] The deal, to be formalised in August, comes after AVTEG secured a partnership to build a telecom training centre in New Delhi.

[3] AVTEG managing director Parampreet Singh says Australia has always been eager to have an infrastructure presence in the country and the partnership has made it possible.
