Australia to introduce tax incentives to encourage startup investment

[1] According to Australia’s Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, his government will be introducing legislations to spur the growth of startup investments.

[2] The proposed amended tax laws offer retail investors a 20 percent income tax rebate, while venture capital investors in established startups will earn a 10 percent tax rebate.

[3] The new tax laws are aimed at improving the economy and at the same shifting away from a slowing mining sector.
