Australian broadband provider Activ8me & nbn get active connecting remote indigenous communities

[1] Australian satellite broadband and registered nbn service provider, Activ8me has been providing and maintaining essential telecommunications in remote indigenous community – in partnership with the Australian Government.

[2] Activ8me has installed 301 community phones under the government’s Remote Australia Strategies Programme since May 2009.

[3] The service provider developed and installed the remote community phones, powered by solar energy, and using a powerful satellite connection.
