Australian Government open data offer presents “wealth of opportunities” to startups

[1] The Australian government will be revealing public data as part of a pilot program geared towards encouraging innovation in e-governance.

[2] The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet will be collaborating with Pollenizer for DataStart – an open data program which will enable data-driven innovation and come up with a commercially-viable business.

[3] After going through a series of competitive pitches, one startup will be selected to get nine months incubation at Pollenizer, support from the government, and Right Click Capital’s $200,000.
