Australian Information Technology News – ANU and USYD develop the world-first radio-tracking drone

[1] The world-first radio-tracking drone to locate radio-tagged wildlife has been developed by researchers at The Australian National University (ANU) and The University of Sydney (USYD).

[2] The new system has undergone a trial by tracking bettongs at the Mulligan’s Flat woodland sanctuary in Canberra.

[3] The drones will allow researchers to more rapidly and accurately tag wildlife, and gain insights into movements of some of the world’s smallest and least known species.
