Australian Computer Society calls on government to improve gender diversity in tech

[1] The Australian Computer Society has revealed its 2016 election manifesto: giving greater emphasis on gender diversity in tech.

[2] The ACS published the Federal Election Manifesto on Monday and they’re urging the federal government to focus on digital skills and literacy, diversity, cyber security and a quicker rollout of high speed internet.

[3] According to ACS president Anthony Wong, Australia will likely need 100,000 more ICT specialists by 2020 and only 4000 IT graduates are produced at tertiary level each year.
