Australia’s Airwallex raises $3m pre-Series A led by Gobi Partners

[1] Australian fintech startup Airwallex has recently earned a $3 million pre-Series A investment round initiated by Shanghai-based venture capital firm Gobi Partners.

[2] The funding will be utilized build up its Melbourne and Chinese development teams and advance the R&D efforts of its international payments platform.

[3] Airwallex co-founder and chief executive officer, Jack Zhang believes that the growth of the international e-commerce, travel and import/export trade brings forth huge market opportunities for their all-in-one solution.
