Wyatt Roy grilled on start-up funding on Q&A: ‘The money doesn’t match the words, mate’

[1] On Monday night’s ABC Q&A, Assistant Minister for Innovation Wyatt Roy faced the audience’s criticisms on the government’s slow-lane approach.

[2] Mr Roy is highly optimistic of Australia’s future as a global leader in innovation, but forewarned that it shouldn’t imitate San Francisco’s Silicon Valley.

[3] He reiterated that the government’s successful support towards innovation depends also on it stirs up private sector involvement.
