To deliver more high-growth startups Australia needs an entrepreneurship system

[1] Australia’s chief economist Mark Cully believes governments can’t raise up entrepreneurs but they can help meet conditions to promote progress for entrepreneurs.

[2] Cully has publicized the government’s sixth Australian Innovation System Report, stipulating the necessity of more high-growth startups, imbued with a rich entrepreneurial culture.

[3] The report adds that between 2006 and 2011, two years old and younger startups have contributed 1.4 million jobs to the Australian economy, while more than 400,000 jobs came from other firms.
