Australian streaming TV addicts slower to get hooked: Netflix

[1] A new research from global streaming TV giant Netflix shows that Australians are slower to become hooked on TV series than other viewers globally.

[2] The Netflix analysis also shows viewers don’t get hooked easily on new TV series during the pilot­episode, a key indicator as it prepares its new TV series for the 2015-16 season.

[3] The analysis of 20 different series across 16 markets indicates that most viewers become “hooked” only after the fourth or fifth episode of a running series.
