NSW govt to appoint chief data scientist to lead new analytics hub.

[1] The NSW government unveiled the “first of its kind” dedicated data unit that allows researchers, start-ups, companies and the non-governmental organisation sector to work directly with government experts.

[2] The NSW’s data analytics centre (DAC), which is housed in the Department of Finance, Services and Innovatio, was unveiled last month by the Innovation Minister Victor Dominello

[3] The government is currently looking for a chief data scientist to act as the CEO of the new entity.
