NBN declared global leader in wireless broadband

[1] A new broadband report has shown that the NBN is a global leader in wireless broadband from faster speeds and substantially higher data allowances than anywhere else in the world.

[2] The report dubbed ‘Fixed Wireless Broadband: A Global Comparison’ was done by Ovum and commissioned by Ericsson – which collected the performance data of 21 overseas wireless broadband providers.

[3] The data shows that few operators are able to match NBN’s upcoming 50/20Mbps maximum wholesale speed – currently in a nationwide pilot.
