ACT’s first digital chief will drive ‘digital agenda’

[1] The first chief digital officer, Jon Cumming, has been appointed by the ACT Government as part of its digital innovation strategy in the nation’s capital.

[2] Mr. Cumming comes in with significant experience in the ICT industry in both the public and private sectors – most recently worked for the New Zealand Government to deliver digital solutions.

[3] According to ACT Chief Minister and Minister for Economic Development, Andrew Barr, the position will be responsible for driving digital innovation and further establish the ACT as a leading digital city.
