Telstra gets ACCAN red card over delay in response to outages

[1] Telstra has been accused of numerous outages to its network, just a few days after outages in New South Wales disrupted mobile, landline, Internet use and state’s rail network.

[2] The Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN) has raised the concerns that further outages have occurred with some customers still unable to receive calls despite Telstra taking remedial.

[3] ACCAN has also taken Telstra to task over its delays in responding to a consumer issue about a landline number that was ‘switched’ with another number last month.
