NBN, BT join forces on broadband roadmap

[1] NBN, the company building the government’s National Broadband Network, has struck a deal with British Telecom to share information on how best to connect their respective nations with superfast broadband networks.

[2] NBN is keen to learn from the very efficient fiber-to-the-node model of the UK and how they are able to successfully maintain the high rate of FATTEN deployment.

[3] The mixed-technology rollout of superfast broadband in Britain has enabled the company to pass 85 per cent of the population within five years.
