Telstra says more FTTN trials required

[1] Telstra has revealed that it is currently handing over all available data on the state of the copper network to NBN Co.

[2] The telco also announced that trials are underway for the fibre-to-the-node (FTTN) in Umina, News South Wales.

[3] According to Telstra’s group executive corporate affairs, Tony Warren, the trial at Umina is aimed at testing the viability of FTTN technology and that more trials are required.
