Vodafone completes carrier aggregation across 4G metro network

[1] Mobile tech giant Vodafone has announced the completion of its rollout of an 850-1800 MHz carrier aggregation across its 4G metropolitan network.

[2] Vodafone chief technology officer, Benoit Hanssen, said carrier aggregation is a key feature of LTE-Advanced or 4G+ that would increase its performance by combining spectrum bands to operate as one.

[3] The rollout aims to bridge the demand gap as more than 50 per cent of Vodafone customers are now using 4G and the demand is rising every year.
