[1] Australian pay television company Foxtel has unveiled the long-awaited broadband plans and renewed its plans to expand its pay-TV penetration.
[2] The move has positioned Foxtel to become one of the nation’s leading suppliers of internet services and igniting a new competition battle for Australia’s 12.5 million internet subscribers.
[3] Foxtel, which holds 2.6 million-strong customer base, also has moved into the fixed-line broadband market paving its way into an entry into the National Broadband Network.
