Australian Flying Doctors using the cloud

[1] The Australian branch of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), based out of Adelaide, has come up with smart IT ways of overcoming challenges keeping temperature sensitive medical supplies safe.

[2] According to Adam Ind, the IT manager for the RFDS’s Central Operations, they now use newer technologies that would give both physical and wireless warnings on conditions of medicines.

[3] In addition to screening a monitoring movement of medicines, they also use the app “Flight Explore” that tracks the real time location of their aircrafts and arrival schedules.
