Queensland’s mobile police in a technological shift

[1] The Queensland Police Service has shifted from HTML5 to using iOS and re-written its award-winning QLiTE mobile interface as a native application.

[2] This follows the launch of the second version of QLiTE by Queensland’s Emergency Services Minister Jack Dempsey, which has new features.

[3] Officers will now have access to an iPad or iPhone, whereby the native iOS version of QLiTE can allow recording of officers’ digital signatures for use in issuing infringement notices electronically.
