[1] Australian telco Telstra has announced that it will provide mobile connectivity for the new Model S, Tesla Motors’ new electric car after Tesla opened its first dealership in Australia.
[2] The machine-to-machine (M2M) deal will see Telstra mobile network power the remote diagnostics systems, infotainment and other key features of the Model S electric car.
[3] Tesla car owners will be able to access live information through giant 17-inch touch screen in the car, stream music and get real-time traffic updates, among other things.
