Survey of chief information officers (CIOs) and chief financial officers (CFOs) find solution on cutting costs

[1] A New survey of CIOs and CFOs has highlighted the best and worst areas to save public resources, with the least way being noted as eliminating waste.

[2] The survey attendees included 110 senior IT and finance officials who were asked about the most effective way to reduce costs in their agencies.

[3] 55 per cent of the respondents chose business process redesign, while 25 per cent chose optimizing resource allocation; 16 percent went with shared services and eliminating waste at 4 percent.
