UN moves to strengthen digital privacy

[1] The United Nations has ratified a legislative document for the protection of digital privacy and has encouraged governments to assist citizens who’ve been addressed under mass surveillance.

[2] After going through the General Assembly’s human rights committee and the full Assembly as well, the document will also undergo a vigorous review with the Five Eyes Intelligence Alliance.

[3] The alliance is composed of members like Australia, Britain, Canada, New Zealand and the United States.
