Australian businesses drowning in $155 billion of self-imposed red tape: Report

[1] Based on the Deloitte Access Report, Australian business are spending huge amounts of money on self-imposed red-tape.

[2] Entitled “Get out of your own way: Unleashing productivity”, the report confirms that $250 billion dollars are spent on fulfilling rules and regulations within the private and public sectors.

[3] One of the authors of the report, Chris Richardson, says new rules that pertain to information technology, finance and human resources are one of those areas that need to undergo changes.
