Optus preparing for a fierce free Wi-Fi battle

[1] Optus company is about to enter the free Wi-Fi market, challenging  Telstra and iiNet in the coming public Wi-Fi rollout.

[2] This is a move by Optus to challenge Telsra’s $100 million Wi-Fi Nation project that is aimed to provide residents with free Wi-Fi access.

[3] The battle will majorly be over a piece of the Liverpool Council controlled sites and the 2 million expected Wi-Fi hotspots.
