[1] A draft of the Annual Broadband Progress Report circulated to fellow FCC commissioners by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), has made key proposal for raising the minimum broadband.
[2] The draft recommended for the definition of broadband to be raised from 4 Mbps downstream and 1 Mbps upstream to 25 Mbps downstream and 3 Mbps upstream.
[3] The new definition of broadband by FCC means that many Australians will be provided with a new ‘bare minimum broadband’ under the current Coalition broadband policy.
