US firm Nutanix grants Berry Street’s web-scale wish

[1] Victorian child protection charity Berry Street has a brand new web-scale infrastructure presented by US firm Nutanix, after it came second in an international competition.

[2] This was part of the ‘Web-scale Wish’, an initiative launched in October 2014 that gave not-for-profit organizations the chance to share in Nutanix converged hardware, licenses and support valued at $US500, 000

[3] The aim of the Web-scale Wish initiative was to demonstrate that charities could also receive the same benefits that web-scale IT brings to major companies.
