Lack of women in IT prompts calls for education reform

[1] Australia’s female technology leaders are urging for educational reforms in order to encourage gender diversity in the workplace.

[2] Female leaders like Microsoft Australia’s managing director Pip Marlow and Intel’s Kate Burleigh believe that the educational system should change through how information technology is taught in schools.

[3] There are more men working in IT compared to women; that’s why Ms. Marlow thinks IT should be taught in the same ranks as English and Math.
