[1] Through Engineers Without Borders Australia (EWBA), Torres Strait girls are now being taught how to code and develop emergency beacons.

[2] This initiative is lead by Australian IT companies like Dell Inc., Google Inc, HP Corp, IBM Corp. Lenovo Corp. and NetApp Inc.

[3] It has been noted that companies having the most impact towards the Australian IT market are mostly foreign.
