[1] Australians may soon be allowed to register just .AU domain names if a set of draft recommendations is agreed upon by the auDA Board.
[2] auDA is the body responsible for reviewing the policy framework underlying the allocation and use of .com.au and potentially .au domains in Australia.
[3] The recommendation that Australians should be able to register domain names directly under .au (e.g. myname.au) will help domain name sellers to sell all .com.au names as .au over again.
