[1] A number of cross-party MPs have united to form a new group – calling themselves bipartisan Parliamentary Friends of the Internet – to promote the internet and technology in Australia’s law-making efforts.
[2] The group was launched on Wednesday night by Communications Minister Malcolm Turnbull, Shadow Communications Minister Jason Clare, and Greens Senator Scott Ludlam.
[3] The new initiative is led by Internet Australia and membership is open to all senators and MPs.
