[1] Vail resorts, which has one in New South Wales Australia, has announced the launch of EpicMix Time, an expansion to its ski and snowboard app, EpicMix.
[2] The app is currently under testing at Perisher and uses anonymous crowd-sourced Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals to analyze and display up-to-the-minute chairlift and gondola line wait times.
[3] The app, which works for 55 core lifts and gondolas across 13,600 acres of skiable terrain in Colorado, will start its debut during the 2015-16 winter season.
