[1] Optus claims it is the first telco in the world to deliver carrier aggregation on three separate mobile networks (3xCA), achieving download speeds of 317 Mbps.
[2] The telco is using one FDD (frequency division duplexing) and two TDD (time division duplexing) networks to deliver an ambitious pilot of 3xCA technology in selected areas in Australia.
[3] The high speeds are available only with compatible category 9 carrier aggregation devices, including the new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Note 5.
