[1] Increased customer demand for quicker access to account balances and mobile banking services has forced Suncorp Bank to make fingerprint login available for its mobile banking app.
[2] Suncorp Bank Digital Banking Manager, Simon Clarke, said the ‘Fingerprint ID’ will be available from Wednesday, 12 August on iPhone 5s, 6, 6 Plus, iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3.
[3] This follows six mobile app releases by Suncorp in the past one year, including the first BillSplitter feature on a banking app in Australia.
