Tourism Australia’s major IT overhaul nears completion

[1] Tourism Australia is currently undergoing a major transformation from its core IT systems from Oracle to Microsoft – which is almost through.

[2] According to Tourism Australia chief information officer, Dave Rumsey, the upgrade was prompted by some of the agency’s legacy systems moving out of vendor support.

[3] The agency successfully awarded the task to UXC Eclipse and BizData as its main channel partners for the project following a successful tender process.
