Digital transformation could save Australian governments $26.6b

[1] According to a new Deloitte report, Australians transact about 800 million with federal or state government departments annually, with 40 per cent of the transactions being done through phone or post.

[2] The report, dubbed ‘Digital Government Transformation: Unlocking the Benefits of Digitising Customer Transactions’, was initiated by adobe.

[3] It found that $26.6 billion could be saved by the government if the phone and mail transactions were reduced to 20 per cent over 10 years.
