3D printing becomes part of science at Deakin University

[1] Deakin University will be showcasing the collision between art and engineering at the inaugural Design Technology Conference in Geelong with 3D taking the center-stage.

[2] Among the displays will be a 3D printed art exhibition from studio artist, Lionel Dean’s UK-based Future Factories and a 3D printed electric guitar from Sweden’s professor Olaf Diegel, among others.

[3] The Conference will see about 70 researchers and experts worldwide in the fields of technology, design, engineering and education coming together this week to showcase the integration of design and science.
