[1] The federal Government has announced that it has opened a new data centre in the Canberra suburb of Fyshwick that will improved departments networks and cut costs.
[2] According to Minister for Communications Malcolm Turnbull and Minister for Human Services Senator Marise Payne, the new data centre will be shared by agencies to streamline government operations and expenditure.
[3] The opening of the new site comes before the completion of the Department of Human Services’ data centre consolidation project.
