[1] Macquarie Bank has bought nearly 2000 mobile phone towers around Australia from the current US owner.
[2] The deal was done between the infrastructure arm of Australia’s Macquarie bank and CCAL, the Australian subsidiary of US public company Crown Castle for an amount of $2 billion.
[3] The deal now brings Australia’s largest tower operator back to Australian hands.
