Telstra expands global PEN platform

[1] Australian telco giant Telstra has extended its new global Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform into the optical layer.

[2] The extension will enable high-bandwidth provisioning up to 100G and automated fault restoration across its global Points of Presence (PoPs).

[3] This follows Telstra’s additional nine PEN PoPs to Pacnet’s existing footprint of 16 PoPs across Asia.
