Privacy laws inadequate in the eyes of Australians, Intel survey shows

[1] A new research from Intel Security has shown that only two in five Australians see the current privacy laws as adequate in the context of security.

[2] The survey was done in conjunction with Australian Privacy week and conducted online by Kreab Research with a sample of 1,238 Australians – 18 years and above.

[3] The research showed that 75 per cent of those surveyed failed to name any government policies relating to privacy, with Healthcare providers coming out as the most trusted institutions.
