Energy retailer releases customer smartphone app

[1] Australia’s leading integrated energy company Energy retailer AGL has announced the release of a new free smartphone app which will give its residential customers greater control over their energy usage.

[2] The AGL app, launched with iOS compatibility, will initially be available to smart meter Victorian electricity customers, followed by basic electricity meter and gas customers in July.

[3] Electricity and gas residential customers in all states will be able to use the app by October 2015.
