Internet Society continues pressure on government over Internet policy

[1] Internet Society of Australia has called for greater scrutiny and public debate, and a stop to government ad hoc decision-making on Internet policy.

[2] Internet Society of Australia CEO Laurie Patton says that Australians need a “state-of-the-art broadband service underpinned by progressive regulatory policies from the government.

[3] The main concern is that the government’s ad-hoc decision making is adversely affecting Internet users and Australia’s to fully exploit the “state of the art” broadband service.
