Centrify launches ‘industry first’ cloud-based privileged identity service

[1] Centrify, a unified identity manager vendor, has launched what it claims is the industry’s first cloud-based identity management solution to offer security and control of privileged accounts.

[2] Centrify CEO and founder Tom Kemp said that they were inspired from the fact that privileged accounts were top targets for hackers and malicious insiders alike.

[3] The solution, dubbed ‘Centrify Privilege Service (CPS)’, will be able to secure and manage third-party access in hybrid IT environments.
