[1] A CSIRO nanotechnologist Dr. Amanda Barnard has become the first Australian and the first woman to win one of the world’s top science prizes.
[2] She was named one of the two winners of the 2015 Feynman Prize for Nanotechnology, taking out the Theory category of what is considered the top award in the field.
[3] Dr. Barnard is using theoretical and Computational methods with help of powerful supercomputers to make the most out of big data on tiny nanoscience.
