Australian accelerator buys into PlayMeet

[1] Perth-based accelerator Yonder & Beyond has bought into US-based social media app PlayMeet in a 10% stake deal.

[2] PlayMeet provides a social media platform around music, matching users according to location, musical tastes, and venue check-ins.

[3] In the deal, PlayMeet will be spun out as a separate entity from its creators, with Yonder buying a 10% share for US$1 million and becoming the new company’s management provider.
