Outsourcing tech expertise a fool’s errand: Atlassian

[1] Atlassian co-founder Mike Cannon-Brookes has poured water on the idea of importing or outsourcing jobs to build viable technology start-ups in Australia.

[2] He made this remark while responding to comments by Luke Carruthers, the general partner at start-up 25Fifteen, who asked him about the need to teach children computing basics.

 [3] He argued that technology expertise could be outsourced from overseas, and that the idea that technology has to be locally grown is parochial.
