Australia’s digital economy worth $79bn: report

[1] Deloitte Access Economics’ The Connected Continent II report shows that Australia’s digital economy is now valued at $79bn.

[2] The report’s findings is closing the gap with the prediction of the first Connected Continent report in 2011 which predicted that Australia’s digital economy will stand at $70bn by 2016.

[3] Furthermore, the report also confirms that the digital industry will outrun both agriculture and retail sectors.
