Aussie banks preparing Apple Watch apps

[1] Australian bank Westpac and subsidiary St George are preparing for the Australian launch of Apple’s new watch by developing apps that will have some banking functions to Apple Watch.

[2] The bank wants to have the apps ready by April 24, the official date when the Apple Watch will go on sale in Australia.

[3] The app will have limited features, like showing balances and locations of the nearest ATM or branches.
